Manche Calls, die als Ausgangsformation Facing Couples haben, dürfen auch aus einer Right-Hand Ocean Wave getanzt werden.
Die Tänzer sind dann bereits „einen Schritt weiter” (schon in der Wave) und führen einfach den restlichen Teil des Calls aus. Beispiele: Right and Left Thru und Square Thru aus einer Wave.

Gilt nur für rechtshändige Waves (verallgemeinert auch Mini-Wave / Tidal Wave).
Zum Lernen hilft: gedanklich in Facing Couples „zurückgehen”, den Call starten, wieder in die Wave treten.
Achtung: Bei Touch a Quarter und Pass the Ocean gilt sie im Mainstream nicht.

Some calls that are defined to start from Facing Couples are also proper starting from a Right-Hand Ocean Wave. Examples include Right and Left Thru and Square Thru. In these cases, the dancers have already stepped forward toward the facing dancer and are ready to complete the remaining action of the directed call.
