3 Tipps & Hinweise
Aussprache: „Dixie Grand” [dixi gränd].
Rechts – links – rechts: drei Pull Bys, wie ein kurzes Right and Left Grand.
4 Original-Definition (englisch)
Starting formations: Dixie Grand Circle, Right and Left Grand Circle, Double Pass Thru, or any formation where at least two dancers can start. The Ocean Wave Rule applies when Dixie Grand begins from a 1/4 Tag formation or from Parallel Right-Hand Waves.
Dance action: Those who can, start the call by joining right hands with the Facing Dancer and pulling by. Each dancer moves ahead around the circle and gives a left hand to the next, pulling by, and a right hand to the next, pulling by. Regardless of the starting formation, as the movement progresses, the formation converts to a Circle.
