1 Was ist das?
Eine Welle aus allen acht Tänzern in einer einzigen Reihe quer durch den Square – eine „Flutwelle”.
Wie bei der Ocean Wave schauen Nachbarn in entgegengesetzte Richtungen. Stehen dagegen Paare nebeneinander (je zwei in dieselbe Richtung), spricht man von einer Tidal Line bzw. Tidal Two-Faced Line .

Alle acht in einer Linie; jeder hält die Hände seiner Nachbarn.
Aus der Tidal Wave tanzt man z. B. Grand Swing Thru , Triple Trade und Fan the Top .
Right-Hand Tidal Wave: die Ends halten die rechte Hand mit ihrem Nachbarn.
