In der Tidal Wave drehen im ersten Teil alle Paare mit rechter Hand, im zweiten Teil die drei mittleren Paare mit linker Hand. Die beiden äußersten Tänzer machen nur den ersten Teil.
Start Gezeigter Call: Grand Swing Thru (aus Right-Hand Tidal Wave)
„Grand” = über die ganze Linie aus acht (oder sechs) Tänzern: die übliche „Mauer” im Very Center ist vorübergehend aufgehoben.
Beginnt immer mit rechts. Soll mit links begonnen werden: „Grand Left Swing Thru”.
Aus einer Right-Hand Tidal Wave endet man wieder in einer Tidal Wave.

Dance action: Those who can Turn 1/2 by the Right, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left.
As for Swing Thru, Grand Swing Thru is defined to begin with a Turn by the Right. If the caller wants the action to begin with a Turn by the Left, then the command to use is “Grand Left Swing Thru” or “Left Grand Swing Thru”.
Grand Left Swing Thru: Those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Right.
