2 Definition – einfach erklärt

Ein 20-Takte-Call, bei dem niemand stehen bleibt. Alle „Circulates” laufen auf dem Weg, den die Ends der ursprünglichen Waves vorgeben.

Ablauf: Ends und Nachbar-Centers ½. Die neuen Centers jeder Wave ¾, während die anderen ½ circulaten – es entsteht eine Sechser-Welle und zwei „einsame” Tänzer.

Dann abwechselnd: die drei Paare der Sechser-Welle ½ – die zwei mittleren Paare ½ – die drei Paare ½; die anderen circulaten jeweils ½ weiter. Zum Schluss drehen die zwei mittleren Paare ¾ (werden Centers der neuen Waves), die äußeren vier circulaten ½ und werden die Ends.

3 Tipps & Hinweise

• Zählweise der Center-Drehungen: ½ – ¾ – ½ – ½ – ½ – ¾.
• Wer gerade nicht dreht, läuft auf dem Circulate-Weg weiter – niemand wartet.
• Ergebnis: wieder Parallel Ocean Waves.
• Left Relay the Deucey gibt es aus Eight Chain Thru.
• Am Ende bekommst du denselben Tänzer wieder an die Hand wie am Anfang.
• Wer außen circulatet, läuft auf Höhe seines inneren Partners mit – dann kommt ihr zeitlich perfekt zusammen an.

Starting formations: Parallel Ocean Waves

Dance action: All Circulates in this definition refer to the original Circulate path established by the Ends of the original Ocean Waves. No dancer ever stops moving during this call; the pauses written into the definition (that is, the action described as “Half Circulate”) are there for clarity of description and for teaching purposes only.

Each End and the adjacent Center dancer Turn 1/2 (180 degrees). The new Centers of each Ocean Wave Turn 3/4 (270 degrees), while the others Half Circulate, forming a Six-Person Wave and two lonesome dancers. The 3 Pairs in the Wave of 6 each Turn 1/2, while the others Half- Circulate. The 2 Pairs in the Center 4 of the Wave of 6 each Turn 1/2, while the Other Four dancers Half Circulate. The 3 Pairs in the Wave of 6 each Turn 1/2, while the Others Half- Circulate. Finally, the 2 Pairs in the Center 4 of the Wave each Turn 3/4 (becoming the Centers of the new Waves), while the outside 4 Half Circulate to become the Ends of the final Waves.
