1 Was ist das?
Acht Tänzer stehen im Kreis , alle benachbarten Hände gefasst, und schauen abwechselnd nach innen und außen – das 8er-Gegenstück zur Ocean Wave .
Entsteht meist aus einem Allemande Left „in the Alamo Style” (siehe Alamo Style).

2 So erkennst du es
Acht Tänzer im Kreis, alle Hände gefasst, abwechselnd nach innen/außen.
Mit der rechten Hand fasst man den Nachbarn – meist den Original-Partner aus dem Static Square .
Aus dem Alamo Ring folgt oft Balance und dann Swing Thru.
Im Plus lassen sich aus dem Alamo Ring u. a. Quarter Thru , 3/4 Thru , Spin Chain Thru und Do Paso tanzen.
Im Ring hat jeder an beiden Händen einen Nachbarn – der Caller muss deshalb ansagen, mit welcher Hand begonnen wird (z. B. „Start with the right hand, Spin Chain Thru”).
